I'm sad the holiday season is coming to a close...mostly because I love to shop! Now I need to focus on something other than gifts to buy so I've decided to update my work clothes. I was so excited to see the fabulous selection of plus size career clothing at Chadwick's! I'm going to look great in all my new work wear! Oh, Happy New Year, too!!

Winter Boots

I just returned from a family vacation in Barcelona, Spain. We had a wonderful trip and visited so many fabulous sites! My daughter and I also did mucho shopping at the stores on and around La Rambla. We saw lots of the newest fashion trends and what caught my attention most was that all the women were wearing boots. Cold Comfort

We had our annual Mom-Daughter-Girlfriend campout this weekend. The weather was great during the day, but oh so cold at night! Even with the warmth of the bonfire I still needed a sweater. I found the perfect cable-knit cardigan online at Old Navy Women's Plus. It had pockets and a soft snuggly hood, too! Finally, after a long and hot summer, the temperature has cooled off a bit. Before long the freezing cold winter days will be knocking at the door! I planned to get a new coat at the end of last season, but never got around to it. Now I'm looking and I've found a great selection of plus size outerwear at Avenue.com! I really like candy! Actually, I love all kinds of candy from licorice to hard candy to chocolate. Chocolate with nuts is my very favorite! So, I guess you won't be surprised when I tell you that Halloween is my very favorite holiday! Now, I need to decide what to wear to our Halloween party. I'm excited to see that Torrid has plus size costumes! Now I have several choices, but I think I just might be a pirate!

This summer was long and hot...and I ate way too much ice cream! Now it's time to get in shape before all the holiday parties! Wondering how to take good care of your skin during the summer months? I am, too! So, as usual I did some research for you! With my summer vacation now only 4 days away, I thought I better make sure all my skin products are up to date as well. I'm getting ready to leave the blogsphere shortly and head off to the sunny beaches of Florida! While I'll miss you all terribly while I am away from constant connection to all my favorite online stores and internet friends, I know a little separation of me and computer will be good... but, seriously, who am I kidding - you all know I'll still be out here looking for great deals and hot tips for you while I'm gone. I just realized I need to update my summer warbrobe a little. I've recently had too many events or fun occasions without the right stuff. Well, another weekend has come and gone and I spent a better part of this morning looking through the pictures I took from this weekend. Then, I thought, I should share my secret passion with you all and tell you about what I do after a weekend filled with more special occasion memories - I Shutterfly!
