It's All In The Timing

I've been thinking about a new coat for the winter. Lucky me, a friend forwarded a link to an interview with Michele Weston on Chicago's ABC7 News. In case you don't know, Michele Weston is a Curvy Style expert, fashion columnist, and author of Learning Curves: Living Your Life in Full and with Style. Some of the newest cold weather fashion trends were highlighted during the segment. I paid special attention to the outerwear suggestions and was quite impressed with the wool Hound's-tooth, swing button coat, the Polar-Fleece Cape and the Military Inspired Coat. Weekend Fun

I had an awesome weekend! It was our
14th annual Mother-Daughter campout
at Pere Marquette State Park. This year's theme was the Wild West and I really dressed the part! I found a super selection of Western boots at Shoes.com and settled on a comfortable pair that didn't break my budget. Then I went to Alight.com and bought a pair of "Diamond Cowboy Jeans."
I accessorized the jeans with a western style belt from Zappos.com. It was cold this weekend so I brought along the red plaid shirt jacket I purchased at Target.com. My cowgirl hat and kerchief completed the look! Everyone had a grand time and decided next year's theme would be "Saturday Night Fever." I better start looking now for the pefect outfit. Any suggestions?
